HD sound processor for speaker-amplifier, current-voltage mismatch

The BA3884, separates the audio into low, mid and high, dephases the mids -180° and the highs -360° and adds them back. What does this make if it is implied on a three way speaker? Is it maybe a snake oil?

In my opinion, the main feature of BA3884 (as for any other BBE processor) is a dynamic expansion of the higher part of the signal spectrum (see fig. 4 of the data sheet).

Agree. But for modern audio systems, it's a solution in search of a problem.
