The gorilla glue version of e6000 or rubber cement seems to have done a fine job as of this morning glueing the rubber surround to the plastic cone. I'll do the metal to rubber bond this evening and see how that goes. The hard part was to get the 2 tacky surfaces past each other cos the surround fits under the cone in this one. Anyway my .02c to this thread.
