has anyone stripped a Dell 1503fp?

I stripped a dell 1504 fp about 2 years ago and there were no cable issues. I bought another dell 1504 about 6 months ago and this one had a different panel. There was a short cable linking the side controller atached to the lcd with the bottom controller. It looked like the common white ffc cable that lumenlab and others sell. Have you googled the number found on the ffc cable?

There is a cable that connects the side to the bottom of the LCD but it is a red 20 pin flat cable the smooth type, unlike an IDE cable in a PC, is that what you call a FFC!
