Has anyone posted a result from an HPS source?

HPS sources are so much cheaper where I am, is it even worth considering?

HPS color temperature is to low, usually under 3000K, which is in the yellow part of the light spectrum. Metal Halide is in the 4500K to 6000K range which is better suited for projection purposes.

HPS is also very peaky, and that gives very poor colour rendition.

yes, but is there any photo evidence? maybe the panel colouring can be tuned around it?

probably not i know.. you cant make what isnt there, but id still like to see some photo evidence...
