Hello!
Problem -- I've got a box of NOS Russian 6BG6 equivalents (6P7S). So I have an idea to make some amplifier using those tubes, but I live in country, where output transformers aren't too easy to get. Purchasing from Internet might be very hard and not very cheap action as well. I found some schematics without OPT, but those use 6C33 tubes. So here's my question -- is it possible to make some OTL amplifier (around 7-10W per channel) using my valves?
Thanks.

As I recall, the 6BG6 is a Beam Pentode. It has a rather high plate impedance so it would not be a good candidate for OTL duty.
What Frank said- the perveance is low, so it wants to swing high voltages across high load impedances. Basically, it's a 6L6.
