This is just for interest,

I have had this in an old book for years so I thought I would drop it in here..😀

The part over the page says ports should be covered with mesh, the compartment for the speaker should be covered with 1 inch suitable material..

Thanks for posting. I love these 50s corner 'horns', and haven't seen this Hartley* one. If you've got corners, they are among my favorite enclosures. I suppose this one is really more of a BVR in a corner rather than an actual horn. It'd be wise to throw it in a modern sim program before building.

*is this any relation to Hartley speakers? or just the same name? Looks like the hole cutout is for a 12", so I don't understand the recommendation for a 10" Wharfedale.

Apparently it was designed by H. A. Hartley Co Ltd..

They suggest the Hartley- Turner 315 12 inch loudspeaker..
The part of the text apparently refers to a general build guide including an Axiom 10 inch (Goodmans), and a corner reflex cab also shown in the book..
