I just found and bought Harris IRFP9140 at Tedss:
IRFP9140 HARRIS MOSFET 2028017807
Remaining stock is 70 pcs. @ 2,50 $, minimum order 25 $ and you know that you want those and not Vishay or IR 😉

Are Fairchild parts also free of Yfs drop-off in the audio band as are Harris parts?
Anyway, with IRFP9141 there is no shortage, only the price is double.

They are good, no Gm shelving on p-channels. I believe Papa also said the Fairchilds gave lower distortion. Standard part for F5, M2 and some others.
Gerber Electronics in Norwood MA has some Harris 9140 stock as well.
Nice kid. (his family was involved with Apogee as I understand)

Would anyone know if Infineon IRFP140 are similar to Harris parts or just the same as Vishay parts?
Infineon bought IR; Vishay bought Infineon. Conventional wisdom is that the Vishay parts are the same as the IR/Infineon parts.
(Welcome back. I haven't seen you in yonks!)
Cheers,
Jeff.

Thanks. It’s good to be back.
The different specs they are quoting for their IRF parts are giving me a brain melt down.
Can anyone explain why the quoted specs are so different between Vishay and Infineon?
