Happy Father's Day to all the dads on here.

Hope you have a great day to enjoy as you like.

For me, that means no cooking. As for other activities, all I have come up with so far is version 2 of a wood and velcro GPS mount for the Corvette. I installed the backup camera yesterday.

I had a good day although my child is on the other side of the country, somewhere in northern interior British Columbia planting trees. I think she is currently near Fort St James, which is more north than Edmonton but but lower latitude than Grand Prairie, but tomorrow she head to some place near Mackenzie, BC, which is further north, looks like near the headwaters if the Peace River. All unfamiliar territory to me. I am simultaneously proud of her and terrified. The camp they are moving to is called "Bear Camp" for a reason.

I put up a moOde player on a RPi 3B I had sitting in a drawer for a year (or two... for a bedroom system) had a short nap, met my son to throw a frisbee / football and chat for a couple hours, had a beer with dinner, got rid of the metro tiles on the wife's PC, which came hauntingly back over the top of a "Classic Shell" install somehow...

Besides meeting my son, pretty much just another typical pleasant_valley_Sunday, here in Olympia, WA. Weather was good!

Felt like a pretty normal Sunday for me. Wife made a couple of kickass meals, lamb bagelwich for brunch, and fresh gnocchi and blackened mahi mahi for dinner.

The most relaxing part was emailing off my 7 yr old's last homework assignment of the school year. OMG no more butting heads until Sept!

Made the GPS mount and put 1 coat on, but I think I'm gonna rework and add a cheap LED voltmeter board to it, as I believe you can never have too many LED's in DIY.

Happy (Belated) Father's Day.

I didnt see this yesterday, but I had a nice Father's Day - it's been nearly 4 months since I last saw my son, so it was a day of celebration, less for me, as a father, and more that we have been reunited after what has seemed like forever.

Still hoping that things carry on with the downward trend, so that I can keep in contact.
