Lousy picture due to Margarita madness but the meal turned out really well. All dishes as above but the avocado became a drink rather than dip and the tortilla looking thing is a quesadilla with chopped onion.

Drop or two of honey
Pinch of seasoned salt
reblended

We will be celebrating with traditional dishes and garb, (no, not tacos) music and dance and remembering how lucky we are no matter our current conditions. I hope you do the same.

Another year has passed. Time to celebrate again.
Not doing anything for food tonight as the Vietnamese side of the family is in town so we're going out. Where? I have no idea but I can bet it's not Mexican. 😀
In the meantime, time for a glass of Tequila and a sombrero.

So we end up at Red Robin of all places. They had a steak fajita dish that was top notch. Served on three plates and the beef was perfectly undercooked. I was really surprised and of course very happy.

No celebration to speak of this year for obvious reasons but a wee nip of Mezcal helped remind me. Hope some of you partook in raising a glass.
