That piano solo was totally animal! I often wondered if Hiromi got the idea of pounding her fists on the keyboard from someone. I like the drum solo the best. What a workout.

I love that version. I first saw him in NYC right around then, maybe a year or two before. The band went fully freeform for well over an hour, then segued smoothly into an absolutely gorgeous version of Mood Indigo. Happy (belated) 100th, indeed!
