Hammond 1650 experience?

Beefing up my JWN KT88 amp output transformers for my new larger speakers. Wondering if anybody has any experience with recent Hammond 1650s? Thanks

Got new 1650W’s in this build. Williamson topology, and it’s low frequency stable. 200 watts, 300 on peak before voltage sag. Can’t complain about the HF response, either - but I can’t hear a thing above 14k. Didn’t have any unusual problems with HF stability which would indicate transformer problems.

Hammonds aren't exotic but a solid value. I've been happy with their performance.
Shindo even uses them in their two "entry-level" amps.

i hope their painting has improved. i have a set that are about 13 years old that are crazed and srusting a bit.
