today i had an idea.
I dont want to tell too much in case I actually thought of something new. I have a concept and part built prototype. Actually its a real rough job and will sound awful, but its ok since that is almost the point, from a testing perspective.
The concept is variable flexture diaphragm, which could be applied to panels or even cones domes etc. Though the actual tech would be different.
The prototype is a triple ply magnetostat. I am free to use the windings any way i choose, i/p or o/p .....
I plan to use various trace patterns in and effort to affect some kind of diaphragm control, akin to servo but perhaps not THAT much.
Am I crazy?
