Ok gang, thanks to you I fixed my Hafler TA-1100 amplifier. I tried the fix which was mentioned here and another site which was to replace C21 and C22. These are El Caps. I replaced C21 and C22 on both the left and right side.
When I fired it up, I got sounds out of both sides which I didn't have before. Yay! But wait, there was very little bass coming through my Even 20/20s. So I searched the web again and found lack of bass to be a common problem with this amp after awhile. So I took their suggestion and completely recapped all of the electrolytics.
I fired up the amp again, and for now the amp seems to sound almost like I remember. I am going to let it burn in for a couple of days and post back about the sound. But for now, it appears I have finally brought this thing back to life. 🙂
