greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, would any one have a reference or any info regarding the hadcock modifigation were by a small dumbell is placed on the headshell to increase the azumith/lateral stability of the arm. Hadcock did have a version that had extra weights at the pivot housing but from what I have heard it is more effective to have a miniature armiture and adjustable weights at the head shell(like a tightrope walker with a balancing pole)Any info would be greatly appreciated

I have no idea, but thinging logically, you want to controll azumith, the movement you want to controll origionates from the pivot point not the headshell. Therefore it seems logical to have the weights at the pivot. otherwise the mass around the pivot point is trying to pull in one direction and the weights at the headshell are trying to twist it in the other direction.

Doesnt sound good to me.

I am however just thinking logically, ive no idea if my assumptions are right.
