H/T orientation query

I've just used my Covid economic stimulus payment to buy a new cheap home theatre amplifier. It's a 7.2 amp. I need two extra speakers for the ambience channels. I have two spare centre channels [ WTW] I want to use.
Same brand, similar drivers and crossovers as the other 5 speakers I am using, perhaps a little brighter.
For the ambience channels does it matter in what orientation they are placed?
front firing, up-firing to bounce off the ceiling or what?
I've tried searching but very little pertinent info and the manual for the amplifier has no advice I can find

If it's like Yamaha presence speakers, they fire towards the viewer and are placed high up on the wall outside of the mains. If they are Atmos then you fire towards the ceiling.

I tried the presence firing forward and also bouncing off the ceiling and was not worth the effort even after designing speakers to suit. I went from 5.1 to 6.1 to 4.1 to 5.1.2 and now back to 5.1.

Horizontal would be fine as they don't do much as bugger all comes out of them. Being MTM that should give a good vertical spread but less on the horizontal which may be preferable for presence. I only used FR drivers for this purpose.

As I said, using them because they are spare and available.
I'll set them up after I repaint the wall.
Here's a link to the Sansui system I have the spares from
Surprisingly good good speakers considering how little I paid for them decades ago
Sansui SHT-65 Speaker Set + Mesh (Delivery Sydney, Central Coast Available) | eBay

Never seen the matching subwoofers for sale S/H tho
The small surrounds are what I am currently using for computer speakers

Do you remember Strathfield Car Radio and the trouble they were in 20 years ago?
Front L&R $99-
C&SR/SL $99-
2002 dollars tho
This is at the same sale where I bought the 7 subwoofers for between $50- and $90 each, one at a time on payday. I have a box or two empty I am playing with; I'll take pix tomorrow
No holes in the walls, IKEA rails and brackets, OK two very small holes to put the rails up, into the studs

Except that they don't fit with the new console we bought. Like a lot of cheap Chinese stuff the drivers are far better than the amplifiers and all the amps are starting to become noisy. Not worth fixing as repair costs exceed replacement cost as usual and I don't have the skills to DIY amplifiers.

Sure
There are two; one that doesn't work is now missing a smoothing cap and the other is very loose on the board and the second amp works but is noisy.
Mind you these were in the old garage with the leaking roof and they may have suffered from damp conditions, even if never actually wet
I have misplaced your postal address so please PM me with the details
The others are still in place in the lounge room waiting for me to get organised. Do you want me to send you both, happy to do so as I'm probably using these boxes as passive with different woofers?
I'll post pictures if I can find both and my camera at the same time
