Hello guys,
I built open baffle with H-Frame with Visaton BGS40 bass driver and Lowther PM6a and it was very good. Unfortunately the PM6 died from natural age and I change it with EX3. Problem is that EX3 is more sensitive and the bass gone weak. It is possible to add second BGS40 in existing H-Frame, like this:

Some options to consider for higher SPL:
1) you could extend the wings on the H-Frame to increase the efficiency of the lower dipole bass frequencies. Cardboard and tape is an easy experiment.
2) you could build a W-Frame with a two woofers counter-force reduction arrangement. You could build one W-frame to test with both your current woofers before purchasing additional speakers.
IF you were satisfied with the max SPL of your older speaker....
3) you might add a Lowther EX3 compensation network to smooth out the SPL vs. freq at the cost of a couple db's in efficiency to match the woofer.
