I would think that U101 was defective. Have you already replaced it?

I would like to, but I don't have one in spare.
Also all broken spare amplifiers have a 5538 op-amp.

What is the best option? TL072ACP, TL072IP, TL072DIP?
Those are the only ones I can order in my country.

Try the 5532(?) if you have one.

I tried a 5532 op-amp.
It easilly clips now with 0.30VAC RCA input. Even with bass boost turned off.

Looks like it's in good working order again, and the problem was a defect TL072C op-amp.
