I am trying to repair a GE 110w integrated amplifier # 11-4010. I suspect the power amp IC to be the problem. The model of the amp is The power amp IC on the board is a SVI3105 made by Panasonic in 1989. I contacted Panasonic and they were no help. After many hours of searching I cannot find a replacement IC, pinout, or datasheet anywhere on the net. If anyone can provide any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
John.

I had that information..but was erased last year.

Search into Panasonic systems and Technics Receivers.

You will find, very often, the chip SVI3205....but not the one you want.... the SVI3105.

In may imagination...the bottom of memory...the substitution is the RSN3404

Check the pins...the quantity of pins.... i am not sure.

regards,

Carlos

It is obsolete - a semi custom part.

Chuck it and move on.

Cliff,
Thanks for the advise but this is a complete system that was given to me by my mother before she passed away last year. It has tremendous sentimental value and i would like to repair it if possible.

Thanks,
John.

Thanks for the reply Destroyer X. The SVI 3105 has 18 pins and I think that the SVI 3105 C is a replacement for it but I am not sure. I can't even find a datasheet for it. Oh well, I'll keep searching.

Thanks again,
John.

I have downloaded many Technics and Panasonic...i could not find

And there are many in the search site.

Please, go there and download by yourself...they may ask you registration..but they do not ask payment.

here is the place..... download all Technics and Panasonic...i am sure your chip will be found there, and so you will have schematic and the possibility to tweak, to fix and to substitute.

But you will have a hard work....i have doing that those last hours.

here is the link:

http://fileshare.eshop.bg/service_manual/datasheets_t_100.html

I wish you good luck.

A good place to enter is this one...here you have in order...from A to Z.... the brand name will be your reference.

Carlos

You may spend a whole day searching...there are many

Those ones i have searched for ya..... they are not using your chip...only the SVI 1302 was found.

There's a big mistake in those big watts dear big john.... that chip will produce 40 watts rms each channel, distorting and screaming as a hunger pig...distorting more than 10 percent to produce that power.

Those Panasonic, and Technics watts are big...very inflated.

regards,

Carlos
