Guitar forums

Just getting back into the electric guitar after 10 years trying to keep my hand in on a classical, (kids, space, money etc etc). Anyway, need a good guitar forum now so which is the best? The two that seem to have the lion’s share of contributors would seem to be guitarists.net and ultimate-guitar.com. Are these the best ones to go for?

Depending on what brand/model of guitar you have, there are quite a few forums based on that info. Strat, Les Paul, PRS, Dean, etc.......

I looked at the two you mentioned, and I wouldn't waste my time there.

I think most of the literate guitar players hang out at The Gear Page, which is "non-denominational". As bloozestringer mentioned, most of the good forums are focused on a brand.

TDPRI is a Telecaster centered website, but there are sections to cover all types. Many pro players there as well.

There are some great guitarists (and musicians) on both the above. Friendly help and advice is always available.

I'm frequently on the Gear Page and find it to be a great place. TDPRI is also a top notch forum. The Les Paul Forum has lots of useful info, but they're extremely touchy - post carefully as its easy to get booted out.

I found it looking for BBD delay/chorusing effects. Has anyone here made any projects using BBDs such as SAD1024 or NM3207?
