I hope it is OK to post this here. It's not a musical instrument, but it does hold one. My daughter started taking guitar lessons last year. Her guitar did not have a case, only a bag. So, since I like to build things....here is what I came up with.
She wanted curves so I stared by building the following jig and bending flexible plywood around it. I used two layers, spread the glue and clamped.

Should be fine, looks good from here as long as the guitar doesn't wobble. Was there a question in particular?
No question, just sharing what I have done.😀Should be fine, looks good from here as long as the guitar doesn't wobble. Was there a question in particular?
Next, I glued the top an bottom on and after it had dried, I split the case on the table saw.

Yes, she is going to have to grow into it for sure. The finished case is a little heavy for her.i'm sure your daughter will soon have strong arms.
Next I applied Marine grade vinyl to the outside using some 3M spray glue. She picked the color. I used foam for the inside. A electric knife works great to cut this.

I added some padding on the cross supports. The strap is to keep the top from falling back. Then I started covering everything inside with black velour material we got from a local fabric shop. Covering the foam that surrounds the guitar body was the most difficult part of this build for me. Not sure I want to do that again. The foam in the last picture covers the inside top.

Beginning to look very delicious.
As an osteopath myself, I may be able to recommend some good practioners near you for when your daughters back develops sympathetic curves to the case 😉

Wow.
My own carpentry skills are thus:
wooden plank on a pair of cinder blocks. Et voila - shelves.

That has the makings of a 70's college entertainment system LOL
We were at a gig a few months back that had the entire stage made of clipped together plywood deck & cinder block supports (redneck car stands)
Nice job on the case!
I see you used floor underlayment. Picked some up and was going to make a case out of it myself. Was going to use it for the sides also though.
I tried to use it for the sides, but it would not make the tight bends I needed.I see you used floor underlayment. Picked some up and was going to make a case out of it myself. Was going to use it for the sides also though.
