I'll give you one hint. It says "Born in The USA" on it's terminal plate. It also probably "Died in The USA".
Second hint: its not a Kicker even though it's in my Kicker photobucket album.

Might be earthquake, but they only made a few amps that had the old style screw down terminals for power/ground, the part that throws me is that 20 or so pin header on the input side, is there a crossover module missing from it?
Could be a Zed audio project for Profile, or Pyle?

its model PR4400 memphis maybe
Doubtful because I can't think of any Memphis amplifiers that were born or made in the USA. Every Fultron and/or Memphis product I owned was either made in Korea or China.

I only said that cause that was all I could read from the model # that is listed inside the torroid on the amp. it was a guess as I havnt owned any old memphis except the Fultron Belle

Ya here is the module I pulled out.

Do you really think this is a ZED amp? If it is, I may just have to fix it otherwise not.

all Zed I have seen had ZED on the board except for one or two amps that were having disputes with Mantz at the time of production. even BOSS amps said "made by ZED" on the boards
You have to watch it though because some of those Zed amplifiers claimed to be Zed LONG after the manufacturers switched to overseas build houses. Some of them even kept his same circuit board humor silk screened in the various places on the boards.
I have seen some without that were ZED boards also. that is why I didnt say it was absolute.
your in La...your also on DIYMA also? chrisB ?

Earthquake is the only amp I can recall that used the phrase "Born in the USA" on it. It looks similar to the Earthquake 4300TXO shown on ampguts.
My guess is an Earthquake 4400TXO.
