It's NOT a Grundig, but supposed to complement the Grundig Fine Arts glassworks preamplifier from 1987.
The 20 watt OTL is from 2004, Grundig never made a Fine Arts power amp to mate with their tube pre.

The OTL amp is called Final Arts and made by Burkhardt Schwäbe.
Schwäbe used to work for Gründig at the time of the esoteric Fine Arts amp series, also engineered them.
The tubes on the OTL amp should also read Final Arts, not Fine Arts.
Schwäbe also manufactures a 30 watt EL34 PP power amp under the Final Arts brand name.
Cost of the OTL amp is a little under $10K.

Have m both, here's a pic of the OTL with the original series Grundig pre.
The exclusivity and mechanical craftmanship of the pre made it a bargain at 5000 German Marks during the time of production.

$1.5K is a steal.

The exclusive Grundig Fine Arts series was set up under Philips management, parallel with an exclusive Marantz line. Philips got rid of Grundig, and the Grundig audio line went bust a few years ago.
Compared to a number of tube gear brands, the sound and build quality of both Fine Arts and Final Arts models fully justify their list price. The Grundig Fine Arts goldy locks pre already is a collectors item for quite some time now.

$2500 for a pre-amp that cost $3500 in 1988 reads like a better investment than buying consumer grades.

All parts of the pre were custom made and not a great many were built/sold, but i'm sure a great many here would enjoy a source for the toggle switches of the Fine Arts pre. Grundig lost a bulk of money on their eyecatcher poduct line. I don't have the OTL schematic.
