To counter PR lag, I could also swap their positions. Woofer firing down, PR facing firing forward. Would this solve the problem and will it still work?
Just put them both on different side panels (instead of one on the bottom) if you're concerned about lag.
Not really. Now if you had two active drivers opposite each other, or two PR's opposite each other then they would help cancel out vibrations. But in this case, not so much.

Compliance is about the same for woofer and PR and moving mass of woofer 135g so sag will be about half and that is probably ok if driver suspension is stable over time.
Maybe other have different opinion but I dislike having drivers with high compliance and high moving mass mounted for downfiring.
Why? If the driver tend to sag more over time cone may have its resting position in an area there spider is stating to be progressive. Result, cone till sense different spring force in each direction of movement. And in addition to PR a driver will have different Xmax in each direction, resulting in unlinearity....distorsion
Of course this is valid if we go to extremes, XLS10 will probably be ok. Other builders may have more hands on experiance of XLS10 than I have.
