Sounds good.
The resistors are in place as are the AD8610s. If nothing else this project has made me feel old and in need of glasses. This is my first SMT project...

Boards and stuff arrived today, beautiful! Really nice work!
Have to brush up on my soldering skills so that such a nice board doesn't get ruined by my bad soldering. 😉
How do you other builder plan for volume control?

I'll use a DAC (Muse/PCM1793) initially which already has the volume control. I'll probably fit an Alps RK27 in there or at least a switch with a few steps. Not sure yet.
Have any of the North American builders taken a stab at the BOM and turned it into something we can order from suppliers on this side of the pond? If not, I might get at it..

I am still waiting my boards so I cannot help you 🙂
Wow, this looks incredible. You are a real professional. I will recommend you to all.
Thanks P-A ! Great product.

Well, neither do I, but we all have access to the BOM P-A has on the wiki.. we just need to do some cross referencing...

Correction, I just got mine today. Guess I'm the first North American to get delivery. Pretty impressive delivery, and a great looking board P-A !
Guess I'll have to get off my butt and come up with a N.A BOM..
BOM with North American Sources
Hi All,
I went through the BOM over the weekend and came up with a list for Digikey, Mouser and Newark. Since Newark is part of the same company as Farnell, it has the most complete list, except for the PPS cap (C1 and C8) and the transformers. Anywhere I had to adjust anything, I've tried to make notes, but please review before blindly ordering. Mouser was unable to provide a negative LM317 in the proper package, and also does not sell the AD8610, so they can't provide the complete list. I ended up splitting orders between Newark and Mouser, to get everything I wanted in a timely manner (there were a number of "supplier stock" parts at Newark and I wasn't sure if that would mean extra deliveries, and extra cost, so I got those from Mouser). I ended up with 2 orders around $30 each, plus shipping ($12 for Newark and $8 for Mouser) (I got the tpa6120, the PPS caps and the terminal blocks from P-A), so all in all, not bad at all..

Not sure what "Non-stock" means but wouldn't Digi-Key BV030-7330.0-ND be exactly the right transformer?
Non-stock means this:
Digi-Key has ERA transformers which will fit.
Product marked with non-stock in the "Minimum Quantity" column is typically not stocked. This product is available for purchase but because of its limited customer base is usually subject to higher minimum quantities.
Digi-Key has ERA transformers which will fit.
Revised North American BOM
Hi All,
I found more equivalent replacements for D1,D2 for both Digikey and Mouser, which had at least 1A current capacity and have revised their parts lists to reflect that.
I also have a favor to ask. I missed ordering a pair for myself 😱
If there is a North American builder who hasn't placed an order yet and wouldn't mind adding a couple onto their order for me, I would greatly appreciate it. If you are ordering from Newark, there is a 5x minimum on part # 01P3401 anyway, so if anyone cares to share, it would save me spending 8-12$ on shipping for $1.00 worth of parts..
Please PM me if you can assist..
Thanks
JD
