Progress has been made.
Boards are here now, and measuring of mosfets has been done. I'll need a bit of time to actually pull matches together and work out some of the background details. But we are moving forward and that is good. Work is a bear at present, so I think it will be another week before I get this moved to the next step.

I can't test an optical signal, only coaxial SPDIF.
The connection is not the determining factor, but if the other device, e.g. CD player is on. An actual active data stream (CD playback) is not required; powering it up reduces the current consumption to a normal level.

Fran has measured all the MOSFETs and I sorted for him.
Also worked out resistor values to suit.
He should be able to offer them when he is less busy with work.
We all have to remember that this is only hobby, does not make a living.

I think @SteveCrook is only looking for mosfets as he was in the last group buy.
Folks, this is my omission - I should have asked you to indicate also if you want mosfets or not. They are in limited supply, so please if you can source locally, please do so. Also, maybe someone in the USA might consider buying a number and matching them and then organising among yourselves to distribute them.

I suggest you start a new GB for the MOSFETs.
Priority given to EU subscribers, then batch 2 rest of the world (as it makes sense to send together with PCBs).
Sending extra to batch 1 outside EU will be too costly.
But you decide.

OK folks, I think a separate thread for the mosfets is probably easier. We are straddling 2 group buys, with complications from continents, shipping and customs.
GB1 European based participants - go to this GB thread to let me know if you want mosfets. Essentially the thread linked there is to mop up GB1 participants in Europe who are stuck for the mosfets.
GB2 participants - please continue to let me know here if you want the mosfets. By the end of this week I will know if all requests can be satisfied.
Please bear with me as we work through and try to ensure all participants get what they need.
Costs for mosfets - €12 for a matched set for 1 stereo pair of FC CEN IV. No extra charge for shipping the mosfets.
So 1 stereo pair of boards - €24 + 1 stereo set of mosfets €12 + shipping €9.
I strongly advise that someone in the USA buy a bunch from the seller on eBay and match them for US (and maybe Canadian) participants. Matching is easy to do!
