For the green safety wire from the IEC socket to the chassis, it should be same as or larger than
all the other AC line wiring, including the wiring inside the line cord.
For the audio or power supply internal wiring, usually #20 or #22 is ok for most of the wiring.
But #18 or #16 is better for the output stage and the connections from the power supply to it.
