I had to resort to googling "AN21 F02" that's next to the ground symbol in your attachment before I found it.

I stand corrected. Clever way to use the opamps by controlling the offset pins...

Edit: Ah, you posted the appliction note in the mean time...

In simple terms it bypasses the internal bipolar differential stage allowing a precision (?) external input pair to be used, but retaining the gain and drive of the OpAmp.

I believe a certain member here may have had something to do with it ....😉
