Hi
I'm looking to replace the cloth on my grilles, they're pretty worn out. What do you recomend (available in Europe, please)? How do I fit them to look nice over the basic wooden frames I have? (especially around the corners) If it matters, this is the texture of the original fabric, pic is 1x1 cm. Thanks.

Don't know where you live, but I am in Buenos Aires (meaning a large city), I often visit the area where all clothing shops and suppliers are, we have street after street of cloth shops, and check what they have.
I have found very cool designs.
To apply it to your wooden frames, you'll need a stapler:
There's lots of YT videos explaining how to.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

A few years back Dan Wiggins (of Adire Audio) tested various yard goods for potential grill cloth use. He found burlap to be the most acoustically transparent. It's also readily available (at least in the States), is inexpensive and comes in a real variety of colors.

Fabric shops will have a stretch 4 way product suitable for grilles.
I prefer to use hot glue over a stapler. Once you become comfortable with it, the fabric is under tension better than with staples.
The corners become easier over time. Have a look at YouTube, I'm sure there's something there. It will be easier than trying to explain it. Look for upholstering tips.
