From a new UK member seeking help, advice and support.

I have a Meridan 508 CD player which I understand uses Phillips mechanism that jumps a little. Other than that, a beautiful sound.

Q. Can a Philips CD player CD723 be used to repair it. Or, does anyone in the UK have a replacement mechanism in good/excellent working order, or can direct me to supplier/provider

It's a long shot I know
