Hello Everyone,
I'm David. I stumbled onto your forum because I've been researching building a tube audio amp. I've built more than 20 guitar amps, but this will be my first venture into tube audio amplification. I've pretty much settled into a 20 watts per channel power section with p-p 6V6's. My biggest concerns so far have been layout design. With my guitar amps, I've always been careful to keep preamp and signal wires away from power sections and B+ wires...so that will be my first and biggest challenge with audio...as far as I can tell. I also can't decide whether or not to build the preamp and power amp separately or integrated together. We'll see.
Thanks!
David
