My name is Tim and I am the support system for my young daughter Maria's interest in Hi Fi and Vinyl. I happened on this site while searching information on Thorens 124 turntables and I am very pleased to be here.
The Thorens is my retro daughters dream in regards to what she wanted in a turntable and with her up on graduation as an excellent student.... I am indulging her on some expenditures in this realm. So as of two days ago she in the proud owner of a plinthless 124 in unknown overall condition. For myself, I am look forward to the journey / challenge connected to making this vintage turntable a good component in her system. She has also made some mumbling regarding tubes?
