Hi everyone, after lurking for several months I decided to join in a bit.
I love this site, my only problem now is there are too many damn projects I want to do. 🙄
So much stuff, so little time (and money).
See you in the other forums.

Hi Mark and welcome🙂
I know what you mean by the amount of projects, I am snowed under with half finished stuff!😉
Any ideas on what you want to try first?

🙂 Welcome!
As you have some knowledgde of this site,
I do not have to tell you so much.
As Jason the siteowner, is from your town,
you know you can feel "at home" for real.
So just you join in at the discussions - give us some new posts.
/halo - far from Melbourne - but nevertheless "at home" on www.diyaudio.com

Well, I've been eyeing off the Audax HT kit for a while. Then there is a Linkwitz transform sub that I've been simulating. After that, some pc speakers powered by a gainclone style amp.
The list goes on and on and on.... 🙂
Unfortunately, I'm about to go on holiday to Un Zud (Kiwi speak for New Zealand) for a couple of weeks, then my partner and I are buying a house, so it may still be some time before any actual construction begins.

Four wheels bad, two wheels good.
Hello there. Do your two wheels require an engine in between?
I once tried piloting a four wheeled thing. It terrified me. It had no power, the wheel thing had to be turned through several revolutions before anything happened, visibility was appalling, and the brakes had no feel to them. OK, so perhaps it was unfair to compare a diesel Ford Fiesta with a Ducati Pantah, but you get the idea.
Which forums do you expect to inhabit?

Yes, an engine is definitely required - I can't go fast enough just by pedalling.
My current ride is a Kaw. ZX-636R, in red (extra speed, besides, green is cack)
I'm lucky in that most of my friends all ride, and those that didn't to start with, do now. 😉

P.S. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, this is one of the threads that has been causing my browser to drop it's lunch😡
