This site was recommended by a freind, so I hopped on board for the ride - I hope I can contribute in the future.
My formal education covered EE and Physics (and typing, but I failed that). Trade training was in the metal trades and oil industry. Also programming in assembler, pascal, modula/2, C, C++.
I was put into a coma by a "safe" diabetic drug that disabled me for good. So now that I have lots of free time on my hands I am trying to kill time before it kills me!
Interested in building a tube amp for my elctrostatic panels and active subwoofers - the ES panals are lame below 100Hz.
I look forward to picking your brains - this is a very smart group.
Peace & grace
Dave

Another one!
Hey, Thrud. I recognized your name from one of the machining boards and when I saw you were in Alberta, knew you had to be the same guy.
Welcome on here too. Good luck with your tube project. So far, I've still not tried a tube set-up.
Enjoy the forums.
Sandy.
