Hi everyone,
My name is Tyler, and I have played with electronics since elementary school. My father was an avionics technician in the Navy, so he taught me how to solder, read schematics, identify/define general components and helped me build many of my first circuits.
Typically, the furthest I delve into circuitry in this century is soldering headers on to microcontrollers, motor drivers, and motors
I have had my first tube amp (guitar) for about two years. It's a 200w blackstar series 1.
Lately, I've begun to geek out over swapping tubes and re-biasing them.
Well, I've been bitten by the tube bug! Now I want to try my hand at building some existing tube circuits first, moving on to my eventual goal of creating my ultimate dream stereophonic guitar amp.
Other nerdery I enjoy: r/c airplanes and cars, physics, chemistry, hot rods, and oil painting.
This place looks like a bunch of good people to share and learn with.
Take care,
Tyler
