Good tube amp for bass

That does not seem like a lot of watts for bass Kendt. What are you driving? I know that damping has something to do with how tight and accruate the bass is, but I don't know how to determine that. It seems like you would want an amp that didn't run out of gas and controls the driver well.

Sorry My bad. I am currently using t amps for bass. They claim to be rated at 20w which is plenty for my system. I would need something comparable. I use a tube amp for mids and thought it would be cool to go all tubes.

If you want to leave the speakers as they are you need an amp with low Zout. I suggest you make a Mullard 5-10 which can have less than 0.5R Zout referred to a more typical 8R secondary:

Mullard 5-10. Ten Watt Amplifier

Otherwise you need to revise the bass alignment (worst case you need to change driver) taking into account the actual Zout. Nothing to do with damping. It's only about correct alignment unless you want a nice 2-4 dB peak.....
