Thanks - for an all horn system (well - at least til 80Hz or so) - I would need probably at least 105dB 2 pi midhorn - a cheap phenolic compression driver on an Altec 511 will do that OK.
-with that Dayton and the right horn you could probably average that 105 up to about 1.5 kHz.. (complete guess on my part about the low-pass behavior.) It would of course be a much deeper horn, and much larger depending on the desired dispersion pattern relative to gain.
