You need to tell us the size of your room, what type of music at what volume, and box size requirements. I wouldn't get too hung up on the size of the drivers.

If you want a simple, effective, fantastic sounding enclosure, look into the WiBAQ. It uses the Betsy K driver, which runs for 110 dollars a pair, and has a frequency range of 30 Hz to 20 kHz (+/- 5db)

That WIBAQ looks very tempting - very cost effective for a 95 dB efficiency speaker with such range. You can drive this with a tiny TPA3122 class D amp and have plenty of volume. It would a very big contrast with such a big speaker cabinet driven by such a tiny amp yet it would be loud and sound good.
