Good deal or not? for 7" lilliput vga

i have found a way to get a 7" lilliput vga (619GL-70NP(XGA) without Touchscreen) for the amazing price of US$225/PC (US$185/PC+US$40(DHL fee))

is this a good deal or not.

i have looked on the internet and this seems to be the best deal so far.

keep in mind that this is brand new!!!!!!!

and i live in Australia.


what do you think, where can i get one cheaper?

Let me guess,....You contacted the manufacturer and told them you were interested in buying a large amount, but you need to buy a "sample" to make sure it's what you need. That's not a new trick, and no it's not illegal. I've done it a couple times myself.

Yeah, it works sometimes, but I figured I'd share it, since this is a forum for people to SHARE their ideas and experiences. Well at least it started out that way.... Now everybody has a secret or solution that you have to pay for. It's getting ridiculous. Hell, I guess if I was like certain other people I could've wrote that in a .pdf and sold it for $20.00

You know what would be cool if they gave you a sample for free lol. All you'd have to do is tell them you work for a huge corporation LOL. Hey did you happen to ask how much it cost for there smallest quantity. If it were 100 for $5,000 then you would have the price of each $50-manufacturers price, and sell them for $100-retail price and make a $5,000 while trying to help us out. Also they would sell fast as most Lilliputs are $220 and you would have the lowest price, but its only a dream lol. Plus if you had $5,000 you wouldnt need to go DIY. LOL.

Greetings

I've been "snooping" around the site for a little while now and thought I'd pick this moment to jump in 😉

I'm cultivating a lead right now for the lilliput XGA TV, currently I can get them for $175.00 USD for "one off's" I'm sure the price will drop as the quantity raises.

IF my latest business venture pays out I will be buying a fair bit from this source, I will advise the forum if I can do better.

hmm thats smart... I think im going to try that.

How many people have tried telling a company that. it should work. Before I do, I am going to shop around abit here, I have some leads on where I can find these monitors I think they may be cheap aswell.

please understand that if the same company is "scamed" too many time at once they will catch on.

let the trial be completed and the we could set up some kind of list of all the companys and products.

ok.... uderstand that this is granted only to work a limited number of times in a small time period. ok


i have asked for the test product for these companies-

-lilliput/newision for the 619GL-70NP (XGA)
and their rival company "xenarc" for the 700Y


i have not herd back from xenarc yet. so be patient.

the lillipu's price is at the start of the forum.

Refering to the units as ..

"one off's" means that I'm just buying one ar two at a time, these are brand new units with full warranty. If I can increase the size of my order to say 10 or 12 I am SURE I can get a better price.

BTW: this price is including dellivery to my location from Hong Kong, all that is needed to be added is the "customs broker" charge. There is no "duty" to be paid because I will be using these monitors in conjunction with a PC based surviellance system... surviellance equipment is "duty free" in Canada 😉

I should be ordering my first one before the week is over if all goes well.
