Another great buy on ebay... or so i think. Today i just picked up an nview (graphX?) z projection panel... 69.00. Im not sure about the model number (z115, z350 etc), but I know it is at least 640 X 480 and 1.4 million colors. I know you guys have all seen these before, so what i really want to know is it good buy or not? It's only the panel being sold by the way.

Here Is The Ebay Link

Dude, he's charging $20 shipping for a reason
The guy obviously doesn't want to let the lens go for $1
The reason it was only at $1 was probably because of that same reason.
If he started the bid higher less people would look at it.
The trick is to scout out the auctions with cheap shipping. Few people seem to realize it but thats where the real deals lie.

Hey verbose, yes either way its a good deal or a GREAT deal, However unless you have th epS for this Its hard to come buy, and it dosent use anything that can be made from a Computer PS( that I can recall anyway) hopefully you will get it to work. Have fun

Judging from some pics i've seen of mine, and of the z255, it has a regular power jac on it. The z355 on the otherhand has a crazy looking power slot.

So you think it just has the usual barrell jack? Humm dunno I have never seen the panels up close I thought they had a 5 pin din plug but different from proximas, who knows hopefully your right and its a easy find, that would be sweetness.

Edit BTW hows the nec and plexi case coming along, why did you get the panel, just another one for the house? LOL its a addiction I tell you like crack only not as messy or nasty. LOL

I found a place who ar selling one used MINT condition Polaroid Polaview 3000. But the remote was broken so he said that without the remote, I couldn't use s-video or RCA. Is there SOME other way to use these inputs without the remote?!

Anyway, this panel seems to have some resonable specs:

640*480 (Anyone know if it can do 800*600 compressed?)
16,7M colors
VGA/NTSC/PAL/SECAM/SVID/RCA

One more question. Does anyone even have this panel? I want to know what response time it has because I want to be able to play games on this thing to. 😎

Thank you

Sorry, I though you guys new about the z115. The thing has a great looking image, 640x480 100:1 contrast, 1.4 million colors. The image looks great! It has tones of features like a speaker, and an audio loop through so you can input your audio/video rca cables to your panel and output the sound to computer speakers. It has a curtain feature to make the panel turn any color you want when not watching a video. The thing was easy to jump start, i use a think pad power supply that is 12 volts 3 amps... I use this one for testing all my nview panels.

Nview Z210 Projection Panel - $36.05

Nview Media Pro Projection Panel - $34.33

Gah...you're so lucky. I spent half my weekend looking up auctions to get a panel and came out unsuccessful...and here you get two awesome ones super cheap. I do remember looking at that second one, though, and I passed it up because it doesn't have any cables. I hate how that happens...the best deals don't have this or that cable, and I don't know where else to find them so I have to skip over it. :bawling:
