Hi again folks,
I´m coming from marvelous threat open by dimkasta: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...io-mm-for-30-euros.234544/page-2#post-6881127
Encouraged enough now, I´ve decided to repair my GOLDRING 10-20 and it broken stylus in the... 90´s!!!!
the replacement stylus costs about 175-200 euros, if not more, an amount I am not willing to pay, and now I feel able to look for a cheaper replacement needle. I wonder if it will be the same with Goldring, and their stylus are made by another manufacturer (Chinese for sure) and they only care about choosing the model? The ways they make profit know no bounds. All I need is to find the same type or similar.

It looks like a nagaoka jt series needle. If you rework the finger grip it may fit. Using the heat is not good for the magnet. A side cutter may work too. https://lptunes.com/products/replacement-for-nagaoka-n-321eb-n321eb-stylus
thanks for the input, barfuss, but I see that the end of the quadrangular tube looks different from my Goldring.
Anyway, I'm going to do one thing, I'm going to pick a similar one and the cheapest I can find, and I'm going to try it and we'll see what happens.

When you ask them, sales people are not very cooperative, to be honest, and I can imagine why. This is pretty cheap indeed, but with diamond tip,.... lets see, now is coming...

Well, the cheap diamond stylus from e-Bay hit home... Unfortnunetly, its rhomboid body is slightly bigger than that from Goldring, and doesn´t right fit at all.
But... all is not lost, I do not give up! 😈

It occurs to me to use the cheap but diamond-tipped cantilever and put it inside the rhomboid body of the Goldring. The final part is different, the goldring has a fine and thin wire, while the cheaper one has a larger cylinder, I suppose it will be the magnet. Let's see if it works...🤓

Here we have them, you can see how the end of the cantilever is different, it is what worries me the most, although I do not understand that the Goldring has such a thin wire. The rubber suspension is also much larger and does not fit. Fortunately, I kept the 10-20 suspension and managed to get it into the new cantilever.

Yes, finally! I had to remove the rubber suspension that came with it, but, to my surprise, the rubber of the Goldring fit perfectly with the new cantilever, and at once!, the inner diameter should be the same, lucky me. Look at the pictures, it looks great. Now I just need to test it.

Yes, something is, but you have to see how it behaves when the weight of the tonearm falls, I suppose it will be rectified. Tomorrow I try it how it sounds, if it sounds ... 😈 😈 😈 😈
See you tomorrow!
See you tomorrow!

Well, I've been listening to several LP's already and I can't believe it. I need more time to assimilate it. After the experience with the Clearaudio Aurum Beta, and now with this well-known Goldring series, many reflections come to my mind about how this world of the hi-fi market works. I'm going to keep on spinning a little more and break the new stylus. Oh my God!
