Hi guys... im going to start building the gainclone soon
the voltage rating here in my country is 240v
those circuits i saw are for 120 v
how do i change it to suit my country's voltage rating ?
and what does it mean by star grounding and case grounding ?
thanks alot guys

Just use a trafo with 240V primary.
I guess if you buy the trafo in your country it has a 240V primary, evt. two 120V primaries.
If it has two 120V primaries you connect them in series to form one 240V primary.
Star grounding means that all ground connections are connected directly to the same point.

I was wondering though.. You have a star ground for each channel.. What about the case? Does each star ground get its own case ground connection? Would that give you a ground loop?

Do you mean to imply that you don't have seperate stargrounds for each channel?2002tii said:If you use star grounding you wil have only one ground connectionpoint in the chassis.
