Hello, how you can explain the R-C-R configuration? Which can be the electro-technical-acoustic difference of having 10.2 ohm instead, or a R-R-C to ground, or C-R-R to ground.
To me R-C-R, R-R-C, C-R-R, C-2R, 2R-C are all electrically equivalent.

For passice audio crossovers they definitley are equivalent. At RF frequencies when parasitic effects come into play things might differ depending on how they are used and also on their mechnaical layout.

Looks like a standard Zobel network to me. 10R and 0.1u in series.

It makes sense to take this into consideration close to the amplifier output. Doing it again at the other end of the speaker cable seems academic. Possibly an excuse to analyse the cable?
It is used as RF "cable terminating" snubber RC, more than a classic zobel impedance flatting.
Long cables, at right and left of the amplifier in the middle could act as a perfect dipole.
Same "zobel" at the amplifier's out or at the loudspeaker's input sound completely different, due to the intrinsic resistance and impedance of the cable itself.

N.P. once suggested to use a Zobel on both ends of a loudspeaker cable in order to present a more resistive load to the amplifier at higher frequencies.

If you already know the answer, why ask in the first place?ygg-it

Please read carefully: question is which is the advantage of a R-C-R layout instead of a C-2R or C-R-R.
No question about the purpose, which I clarified.
