GM-DX874 pioneer

[Hexhclass]

The 4.7 resistor that right behind the speaker terminal keeps burning up.I replace it and the series capacitor,no change.The channel plays good audio.


Any suggestions?

Intermittently shorted output inductor?

Twist/push/pull on the inductor. Does any of that cause an idle current change or cause the resistor to burn?

Found a open capacitor in that same circuit.I replace it and all seem well.

Are you 100% sure that the inductor doesn't have an intermittent short that destroyed/opened the capacitor?

I did spread some of the windings apart just to be sure.
