Hi Cowboy. The Akido Octal, did you use those 33uf caps at the C6 spot, last B+ filter? Just curious as I noticed the manual states it should be film or oil. Anyhow, I'd like to grab both the stereo boards. How ironic, I almost posted yesterday about preamp recommendations, and here a project just presents itself. I bought a kit which came with 50uf PP - massive things but they are not C6 - they are C3.
C6 is the ACF cap of 2.2uf but for some reason is not mentioned in the parts list.
