forgot to mention the label on the r-core.
black 0V, Green 115V, Red 230V, Yellow/Green SCN. Was I wrong to connect SCN to ground, black to neutral and Green to Hot?

I changed the wiring to Green (115V) to neutral and Black (0V) to Hot, but I am still getting a harsh static sound with the music there in the background. I have moved the DAC from a temporary box and changed nothing else about it.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on? This happens with both USB and Coax inputs.
Thanks

No chassis
The temporary box was not metal and the unit worked beautifully with all three wires connected to the IEC plug. It was wired that way when I received it. I just forgot to mark down the connection when I disassembled it, it seemed so simple or that there were instructions on how to wire it.
