just launching a balloon....

I have some of these tubes laying around, they are dual pentodes with shared screens, like 829/832 tubes.

I'm thinking of making a small/cute amp, not much power, for spare room or for headphone amp use.

something like a 6n1 for the driver, and the gi30 as the endtube.
(stereo: only one half per channel.)

I know people have done pushpull, and parallel single ended with this kind of tube. (829/832 at least)
I'm thinking single ended pentode mode, so one tube can be used for stereo.
Maybe a little bit of feedback to keep distortion a bit lower.

fixed bias also for the end tubes, as the cathodes are shared...

any opinions?

Filip.
