The sub/sat route is a good way to go. With single sub systems I've found that better results are had if you can position the sub in the middle between the two satellites.

As the Jordan is manufactured in England (London?)you might even get a chance to listen.

DAVY – That’s no problem I’ll make space for whatever is needed. The plan is to design and build a modular piece/s of furniture to house all AV. TV, Hi-Fi, Speakers, CD collection – the lot, even space so the BOSS can place some of her ornaments.

The sub sounds good, so where do I go from here?

DAVY – Just another thought. Is it possible for me to select components that will also act as/switch to a surround system?

If you do a Jordan sub/sat system you can easily add matching center and surround speakers later by basing them all on the JX92S. It would make for a very nice system. You may also want to include adding a second sub in your future expansion plans. This way you could put a sub under the left and right satellites. Being here in North America I would choose the CSS WR125S over the Jordan, especially since it's half the price. There is a CSS supplier in Germany.

Needs a bit of a tweeter, but i tend to agree with Tim... the only thing i find missing in the Jordans and to an greater extent in the WR125 is efficiency.

Exactly. Adding a super tweeter is a simple process. It's probably not the right choice for flea power but for HT it's excellent.

I have a Jordan sub/sat system, and I love it. But I don't think it fits his budget.
