As it is published in a local e-newspaper (“Superagente 86”: un espia torpe, la 99, el zapatofono y la maldicion de la que los actores no pudieron escapar - Infobae), today is the 50Th anniversary of the first chapter of the series. Get Smart - Wikipedia.

We watched here translated to Spanish in Mexico, in the era of the B&W TV, in a 17" tube TV. Generally the series was about 12 o´clock in the Channel 9 TV. I remember on chapter in which Maxwell Smart was captured, and the boss remembering him shoots a small plastic duck, and decides to go to help him. He said "Te dije que nunca dejes el pato cargado"(I say him that doesn't leave the duck loaded).
I loved the show, and it's one of the shows I watched every episode many times over. Recently, I was poking fun at my wife, who's Chinese-Canadian, and every so often makes the "L" and "R" mispronunciation. I played "The Craw" scene off of Youtube for the family and we all enjoyed it.
I can't find episodes on YT, just best moments etc
Had a look after I posted because I felt like watching one or two but it seems the full episodes have been removed.
Get Smart was my favorite after school tv show.
The slapstick was funny but the deeper jokes went over my head back then.
Watching episodes over as an adult makes them twice as funny - Get Smart On Politics.
