nobody using NEC codes relies on conduit for safety, so there's NO question by anyone except you I reckon.
BTW this thread is about setting up a bench to test SMPS, not about solving RFI EMI.
although if one has it badly enough his measurements may get swamped out by bad common mode on his test gear.
I'm not confused I guess it was a mistake to use rhetorical question marks in reply to to Andrew. he need to do more research and make some tests himself.
