Hi to all 🙂

I need to build a small poweramp for wide supply battery applications..
(also for headphone drive)
I have considered these ic.. :dodgy:

TBA820M - Mono - 1.2W - 3..16Vcc - PDIP8

Stereo PCB
(i have found this with google :xeye: )

LM386N - Mono - 700mW - 4..12V - PDIP8
http://www.national.com/ds/LM/LM386.pdf

TDA7073A - Stereo BTL - 3..18Vcc - PDIP16
http://www.nxp.com/acrobat/datasheets/TDA7073A_AT_3.pdf

TEA2025B - Stereo - 2x2W - 3..15Vcc - PDIP16
http://www.st.com/stonline/products/literature/ds/1523.pdf

which is the best for battery supply ?
others IC also with pcb ?
thanks :wave2:

The TDA7073A and TDA2025B won't work well for headphones as the outputs are bridged.
Lowest external parts count is the LM386N but it doesn't produce much power ... maximum power is 700mW. Even less power at lower supply voltage.
I'm not familiar with the TBA820M.
